A three-member inspection committee from Himachal Pradesh Technical University visited Government College Dharamshala to grant affiliation for the academic session 2026–27. During the visit, the committee conducted a detailed evaluation of the academic quality, infrastructure, and available facilities of the B.Tech (CSE) department.
During the inspection, the committee thoroughly examined the college’s laboratories, classrooms, library, and IT resources. They also held discussions with the college principal on administrative and academic matters, and interacted with faculty members regarding curriculum delivery and teaching methodologies.
The committee also engaged with students and faculty members to understand their concerns and suggestions. Students expressed satisfaction with the quality of education and facilities available at the college.
At the conclusion of the inspection, the committee described the college’s arrangements as satisfactory and also provided some necessary recommendations for improvement. The committee stated that it would submit a detailed report to the university, based on which a decision regarding affiliation for the upcoming session will be made.
